Geographical Disease Risk Index
The Geographical Disease Risk Index is a constituent part of Chapter 3 Care and selection of whole blood and component donors (including donors of pre-deposit autologous blood) Chapter 20 (Tissue banking: selection of donors) and Chapter 22 (Haemopoietic progenitor cells) of the Guidelines for the Blood Transfusion Services in the United Kingdom, 8th Edition, 2013.
