The dates for implementation of changes in these guidelines after publication on this site are set by each of the four UK Services. These dates may sometimes vary due to practicalities of implementation in each service. Each service (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales) can provide details of implementation dates. Minor differences may also occur in the detailed interpretation of some of the guidelines for donor selection.
